Biography
Helena and her husband, Adam, have been married for 35 years and have raised two grown children in the City of Penticton. Helena is a former world-ranked professional tennis player and coach. She worked for Nike at their Headquarters in Portland before settling in Penticton with her family and becoming Canadian. They have owned and operated multiple small businesses in the Okanagan since then, including Konanz Chiropractic, for 30 years. She has an undergraduate degree from UCLA and acquired her master’s degree in 2018 in Urban Studies and Political Science from UBC Okanagan.
Helena has been a Penticton City Councilor and a board member for the Regional District Okanagan Similkameen for ten years. As an elected official, she has advocated for smaller government, cutting red tape and promoting small business and economic growth.
Helena seeks to become the Conservative Member of Parliament for Similkameen, South Okanagan, West Kootenay. With Pierre Poilievre as Prime Minister and a strong team of Conservative MPs will work hard to reverse the adverse effects Liberal and NDP policies have had on small communities throughout Canada for the past 10 years. Helena has worked tirelessly at the local level of government for fiscal conservatism and compassionate support for vulnerable members of her community.
