I have been a member of the Green Party for many years because Greens represent true change and our greatest hope for living in a sustainable partnership with the natural world, while at the same time supporting human rights, health and wellbeing.

As your Green Party representative, I will fight for better access to health care, green energy, and affordable housing based on meeting environmental standards and the human rights of all Oshawa residents.

I am passionate about native plants and habitat restoration. I work at a native plant nursery where my work includes garden design, plant propagation and educating people about the beauty and value of native plants. 

I believe that respect for our native flora and fauna is critical for human survival. As settlers we have brought many, many plants from our native countries. This has put a huge strain on the Canadian natural world. I believe we need to reconcile with Canada’s indigenous peoples and learn to care for and protect this great land.

Modern technologies, such as Green Architecture and Alternative Energy, are critical aspects of our reconciliation. The Green Party more than any other political party in Canada supports these initiatives.
