With over 12 years of leadership at Walmart, followed by roles as a Store Manager at Rogers Mobile and now in Operational Services with the Government of Alberta, Sunjiv brings real-world experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by working families, small businesses, and everyday Canadians.
For more than 20 years, Sunjiv has dedicated himself to helping others—supporting seniors, mentoring youth, and championing health and cultural initiatives across Calgary. His commitment doesn’t stop there—he has been a steady hand and kind heart for new immigrants, helping them get a head start, connecting them with services, and assisting with finding essential housing during their most vulnerable times. Whether it’s families in need or newcomers building a new life, Sunjiv has always stepped up and got them jobs, providing essentials out of his own pocket.
As the Liberal Candidate for Calgary Midnapore, Sunjiv is ready to fight for what matters: creating good jobs, affordable housing, quality healthcare, better schools, and a clean environment. He stands with Mark Carney to build an economy that works for everyone—not just the few at the top.
