Ava Becker is your NDP candidate for Northumberland-Clarke.

Ava was born and raised in Cobourg and Port Hope and loves the abundant natural spaces the area has to offer.

She is currently studying environmental science at Trent University. Her passion for protecting the natural world has led her to volunteer at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre.

She believes strongly that young people should be more engaged in community building and has started a community breakfast for people in Peterborough.

As a student, she has first hand experience of the affordability crisis and, like many people, has struggled to find adequate housing here.

As your MP she would fight to make life more affordable for people in Northumberland and beyond.
