Anil Boodhai is your NDP candidate for Brampton Centre.

Born and raised in Mississauga, Anil is a devoted teacher who has spent years teaching English to newcomers to Canada, helping them integrate and contribute to their new communities.

Anil comes from a long line of auto workers and is a former auto worker himself. He understands the value of a hard day’s work and the importance of standing up for workers’ rights.

As the CUPE vice president, he successfully negotiated for fairer wages, job security, and negotiated collective agreements to help workers.

Anil is no stranger to a fight when it comes to defending what is right, but is pragmatic enough to find common ground to get things done.
