Biography
I came to Canada in 1989, finished my schooling here, and went on to start a business. I never wanted to run for office. Like most people, I just wanted to build a life, contribute, and be left alone. But in 2020, something changed. I started to feel that something was deeply wrong with the country I had chosen to call home.
Since then, I’ve come to understand the root of the problem: we have a parasitic banking system that has rigged the economy against young Canadians. The promise of home ownership—the foundation of stability, freedom, and prosperity—has been stolen from them through a rigged game of inflation, speculation, and insider politics. I can’t stay on the sidelines while that continues.
Reason for running
This is no longer the Peace, Order and Good Governance society I immigrated to in the ’90s. The last six debates I’ve attended have made that painfully clear. While the economy crumbles, the focus has been almost entirely on identity politics and social engineering. It’s like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
We need real leadership—someone willing to take on the boring but critical issue of the financialization of our economy. If we can’t deliver real land reform for the next generation—opening up Crown land and offering it to them under 40-year, interest-free loans—they will turn to parties that offer them nothing but permanent rentership under the illusion of security. I won’t let that happen without a fight.
