Biography
Janina Moran – Conservative Candidate
I am originally from El Salvador and immigrated to Canada in the 1990s, settling in Quebec where I learned French and completed my high school studies in the Hochelaga neighborhood of Montreal. I then pursued studies at CEGEP before beginning a 27-year career in early childhood education—a field I’ve always been passionate about.
My academic background is rich and diverse: I studied early childhood education at UQAM, criminology at the Université de Montréal, addiction studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, and immigration and ethnic relations at UQAM, along with political science and sociology. I am currently completing specialized training in autism, a subject close to my heart.
Today, I work as a psychosocial worker supporting homeless women in Montreal. I also co-founded an immigration firm where I serve as a project manager in immigration and integration. I earned a diploma from Cégep LaSalle as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
I am a mother, entrepreneur, and socially committed woman. Since 2014, I’ve been active in various provincial political parties. Today, I fully identify with the values of the Conservative Party of Canada. I support a conservative vision deeply rooted in Quebec’s unique identity.
I stand for secularism, the protection of the French language, the rights of women, people with special needs, respect for seniors, and the fundamental right of every person to live safely here, at home
