Dionne was born and raised in Regina but spent time in rural Saskatchewan with extended family. One of her favourite places was the family farm located in the RM of Wolseley. She grew up in North Central, with her older brother and parents. She attended Herchmer Community School in the area, followed by Martin Collegiate Institute. After graduating high school, Dionne moved to Calgary where she attended the University of Calgary. After a short time, she realized university wasn’t for her and she moved back to Regina. She worked for a year while on a waiting list to attend SIAST Palliser Campus for the Architectural and Building Technology program. She graduated from the program in 2011 and started her career in residential construction, since then Dionne has moved to the commercial side of construction.

While Dionne was attending SIAST, she gave birth to a beautiful daughter. She has been working hard to give her daughter a loving and nurturing environment to grow up in; similar to the one she received as a child. Dionne has a huge heart and is very empathetic to the people around her; she is an animal lover and cares deeply.

Dionne would like the opportunity to represent the people of Saskatchewan, specifically the Regina-Qu’Appelle region as that is where she is from.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
Dionne believes that the country should be run like an airplane going down, we must put the oxygen on ourselves before we can help others.

Dionne did not like the route in which Canada is on; so, she decided to get involved in politics, as she did not know what else to do. Prior to getting involved with politics, she would listen to the House of Common’s Question Period at work; it is what motivated her to get involved. Dionne was drawn to the People’s Party of Canada for the pro-freedom stance and their platform. Dionne believes that the people should be in power, and no one is above anyone else.
